Last week DC's Bruce Irons, the rest of the Irons family, and the Kauai'an community held the annual Pine Trees Classic. It's basically the ultimate surf contest, bbq, beach day and product giveaway. Above all it's an event for the kids, and every year the kids walk away undeniably stoked. All the local groms score loads of product, free food and shave ice, autographs and a chance to hang with Bruce and Andy, two of the more famous surfers to come out of Kauai's North Shore.
